When Bernardo Lanzetti did concentrate on my collection of ancient wrought irons, it was clear to me that from his dedication something metaphysical was about to come into light. Now his labor exploded in these superb images of exhausted refinement where the sourness of iron, absurdly, does mix with the softness of flesh. Figures hosting the most exciting drives, not excluding a most pure cruelty, almost a miracle in these times of nauseous “politically correct”. Something like his famous voice, in which almost everything can be found, from love to passion to killing crime.
